I have an appication that generates different kind of output (input) and we whant to associate them to different Xterms. Now, what we do is to start the xterms with "-e loop", where "loop" is a program that execute an infinite loop, and then maintains the xterm in the screen. Can the slave mode be used to avoid the "loop" program? Now, we are consumming many CPU cicles just to have the window open. How exactly this slave mode works? --Jose Alberto. -- :/ \ Jose Alberto Fernandez R | INTERNET: alberto@tove.umd.edu :| o o | Dept. of Computer Sc. | :| ^ | Univesity of Marylad | :\ \_/ / College Park, MD 20742 |
