Message-ID: <1932@orion.cf.uci.edu> Date: 17 May 89 21:50:23 GMT Sender: news@orion.cf.uci.edu Reply-To: falmagne@hydra.cf.uci.edu (Jean Claude Falmagne) Organization: University of California, Irvine Lines: 13 I am porting a CAI course to Sun3/280, X11R3. This requires dispaying many non-standard characters (mathematical symbols). I am looking for the patch up to xterm which was posted around January'88 and which makes xterm accept and correctly interpret high ASCII codes (128-255). The version of xterm that I now have chops off the highest order bit of the 8-bit character codes sent to it, and uses only the lower 7 bits. Perhaps, somebody has a collection of all recent patches. Please respond!! Since this patch has already been posted, it would probably be better to write to me directly: dina@aris.ss.uci.edu or falmagne@hydra.cf.uci.edu . Thank you.
