   x11perf is a fairly comprehensive set of benchmarks for X11 servers, and
   descends from an earlier version we used to measure and improve the pmax color
   server.  It times both graphics and windowing performance, and will probably
   find something embarassing on every server it runs on.

I've built x11perf on tan:/u1/oren/x11perf/x11perf.  I tried running it on my
Sun4, and it hangs the server while trying to "calibrate 1-pixel diameter
filled circles".
