In module explow.c of the most recent emacs, a VAX 8810
running Ultrix 2.3 with "config.gcc m68k" to configure
a cross-compiler, explow.c reports "out of tree space"
trying to generate parse trees for the all-uppercase
macros.

The Vax has 48 Mb of main memory.
