Just wanted to thank all who responded to the mystery bird game.
I had a feeling that this bird was a Green Heron but I didn't
want to offer that as a suggestion just so I'd get some honest
responses.  I have to admit however, that the Peterson book was
a little confusing.  I especially can ize the stripes down
the chest, and in the book, they are barely visable.  Any way
thanks again for all of your support.  I can now add another bird
to my list of spottings on my property.
