David Hackworth (Ret.), author of "About-Face" (and possibly the most highly decorated member of the US military). He stated that, at the current time, the United States is UNABLE to move the 6 Divisions to Europe in time to initially reinforce NATO. As I recall, in the event of an invasion from the east, NATO can last approx. 2 weeks..... Hmmmm. NATO going to nuke after 2 weeks? Not a pleasent thought. Flames to /dev/null. I am simply posting what I heard. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "There are two major products that come out of Berkeley: LSD and UNIX.
