It was me, Taras@gpu or taras@guppie or taras@gpu.utcs.utoronto.ca,
The production standard, which is different from transmission standard
for hdtv is 1125/60 or the NHK standard.  Transmission is still not
settled, but will not be required to be compatible with NTSC, which
is a relief.  Further developments are due to come out of the Pentagone.
