As a reaction:
Some two weeks ago I posted an article which requested information (or
at least starting a discussion) on object-oriented databases.
I haven't got any reactions on this article so summarizing to the net is
a bit hard.

Just to try again:
At the moment I am implementing a simple DBMS that will support complex
basetypes, multiple inheritance and transparent forwarding.
I am looking for suggestions how to implement transparent forwarding
(actually a distributed database).
