I am interested in telnet, ftp, and SMTP capability. I am familiar with the Micom NP600G, but it has bugs in it's ftp implementation, and the gateway randomly crashes about twice / week. I need better reliability than that, and I also desperately need ftp. I am currently using kermit to transfer multi-megabyte files at 9600 baud between a UNIX host and the Novell net ;-(. I would like a product that is server based and does not eat up RAM in the network nodes. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
