It seems you are confused by the similar name. Fuji-Xerox has the address. Fuji-Xerox sells Xerox products in Japan. Fujitsu is one of the major mainframe manufactulars in Japan. They have the address 00:00:0E:XX:XX:XX. However, they violate the rule based on the IEEE 48bit globally assigned address. They use their local address rather than the global address. To correct the problem, we requested them to store the unique address in ROM on each ethernet interface. ROM provides fail safe mechanism.
