I'm looking for a very cheap internal modem for a Toshiba T1000 laptop.
The 2400 baud ones I see in the stores are $200-$300 with the the 1200
baud ones a little less. Internal modems for PC-clones can be had at
about $100 for 2400 baud.  Apparently, since each brand of laptop needs
a different card, the prices are higher because of volume.

If anyone knows of a source of very inexpensive internal modems (new or
used) for the T1000, please let me know.
