Dream on... :-) Have you looked at how many PDP-8s are still in service? I won't even mention the staggering production runs of PDP-11s, which are still in production in fact. (I *think* the 8 is finally out of production, but I could well be wrong.) Nobody uses them in leading-edge applications any more, but there are still lots of them around.
