Our slightly-less than one year old NEC LC-890 laser printer has
failed such that none of our Mac applications can use it.  The
password (used in the "serverdict begin <password> exitserver"
command) is no longer recognized by the LC-890.  NEC technical
support says that the EEPROM where this is stored has probably
failed.  I have now been hearing around here that the LC-890
is not very reliable.  Have others been experiencing problems
with these printers?  (By the way, this is the first problem
that we have experienced with this printer.)
