While we are on the subject to references I would like to learn
more about PERSISTENT PROGRAMMING especially in the context of
Smalltalk and object-oriented programming. I have what appears
to be the definitive reference;

Atkinson, M. P., Buneman, P. & Morrison, K. (1988) Data types
and Persistence. Published by Springer

Anyone care to add to my list of one?
