I know I've seen ads for this service in some computer magazine or other, but can't remember which. Any help would be appreciated. Please e-mail. Thanks in advance! This question is of sufficiently general interest that I am posting rather than using e-mail. The company you saw ads from is most likely SAFEWARE. Their phone number is 1-800-848-3469 (in Ohio, 1-614-262-0559). The policy covers the full cost of repair or replacement from just about any cause except theft from an unattended vehicle (or, of course, normal wear and tear). There is a $50 deductible per claim. The premium is, of course, proportional to the amount of coverage. For $5K of coverage, the annual premium is $69. -- Rich Wales // UCLA Computer Science Department // +1 (213) 825-5683 3531 Boelter Hall // Los Angeles, California 90024-1596 // USA wales@CS.UCLA.EDU ...!(uunet,ucbvax,rutgers)!cs.ucla.edu!wales "Indeed!
