I was trying to track down a book for someone who said it had to do with
some guys at Prime and a new computer etc.  Though I rejected the hypothesis
that it might be Kidder's book *The Soul of a New Machine*, because that book
is clearly about Data General, I have been convinced by several letters 
and postings that there is no book about Prime in that vein, 
and the original requestor simply confused the two companies. 

Thanks for the ideas -- and I'll second the comments that described
the Kidder book as a good read.
