We have had particularly good results installing them at all our laser printers, which tend to put more noise on the network than other devices. Under very difficult conditions we have found it necessary to still plug in a PhoneNet resistor or to use an unterminated PhoneNet connector instead of a TurboNet ST. The LEDs by the way are hard to see through the black casing in a bright room. You need to get very close to it and watc it precislely at the right angle to see sporadic small packet.
