A PC network using 3-Com's 3-Plus and 3-Server-3 network system. A micro-VAX 3600 system. I would like to have a seamless connection from the PC's to the vax, i.e. mount vax filesystems as PC drives. This would suggest using NFS. Is it possible to get PC-NFS, VAX, and the 3-Com stuff to all play in the same band. Or must I junk the 3-Com server and put NFS everywhere? Thanks John Clark pa2183@sdcc15.ucsd.edu Disclamer: I didn't buy the 3-Com system I just inherited it.
