sdbm, a complete ndbm clone is now beta testing. The version being tested
is based on Larson's "Dynamic Hashing" algoritm, as I have currently put
my "Extendible Hashing" implementation (based on an algorithm by Pippinger
et. al.) on hold. The eventual posting will include the full ndbm clone, a
dbm wrapper, a document describing (in excruciating detail) Larson's
algorithm and how to derive an implementation out of it, and some handly
utilities to manage sdbm/ndbm data bases.
