On my 500, the time reported from the 8520 chip is slow by 3.5 minutes in
less than a day, versus the clock chip being off by only a couple of seconds
over =several= days.

My question to any C= people is:  Why bother using the TOD section of the
8520 in the machines that you know there's a clock chip present?

And to any 2000 owners- does your 8520 keep better time (because it's
getting 60 Hz from the power company)?
