Subject: Apollo should videotape Apollo's own presentations at ADUS

I recently received a summary of the topics to be presented, many by
Apollo, at the ADUS meeting this year in New Orleans.  Many of the
topics sounded extremely interesting.  So much so that they could help
sell Apollo equipment.

Apollo must realize that many people, including those who might become
customers in the next year, will not be able to make it to this meeting.
They should therefore videotape the key sessions and then send copies
out to all of their field sales offices.  The offices could then lend
the tapes to customers.  This would help educate customers to Apollo's
directions and also serve as a marketing tool by wowing people with all
of the great technology plans.  The tapes could replace one week of the
typical 'why Apollo is so great' tapes that they continually send to
their sales offices.

Love your customers and they may not love you back, but they will keep
buying.  Replacing the pitiful 'Edge' magazine with something similar to
SUNTechnology would also help ensure a more loyal and better educated
customer base.

Now let's bet what the odds are that neither of these tasks as I have
described them will be pursued.
