If you've saved all the set parameters you need and BSAVE'd Kermit, it WILL look for a KERMIT.INIT file and generate a one line error message if it doesn''t find one; however, you can simply ignore the message (the program should end up in local mode with the Kermit-65> prompt - at least it does for me :-) Most folks prefer at least a one line KERMIT.INIT file containing CONNECT (so that the BRUN ends up in terminal mode). Why is it important to make the program completely independent of any other file?
