I, for one, a glad that the mega has the small footprint that it does, if it was any bigger, it wouldn't fit on my desk. As for expansion, the ST already comes with all the average user needs. The only thing I can see adding to my system in the near future is Spectre GCR, and don't see how slots would have made this upgrade much different.
