I'm ju st begin to read this list so I'm not sure whether other has post these questi ons or not, if so please tell me where to read. 1. Does anyone can give me some direction finding information about Tape Drive interface standard, like what does QIC-36 stand for? Can a Colorado Memory System Inc. floppy interfce Tape drive be plug into ST floppy interface port? Can one use a SCSI to QIC-36 controller card to connect a Tape drive? If so, How? 2. Does anyone has experience in connect a HP 3.5" Nighthawk hard drive to ST SCSI? It has 40 pins plug instead of standard 50 pins SCSI plug, someone said it's customerized SCSI. How the pin connections go? and how different in SCSI commands? Any suggestions would be appreciated. S.Y.Tang , Colorado State Univ.
