Message-ID: <1101@adds.newyork.NCR.COM> Date: 1 Jun 89 17:56:18 GMT Organization: Applied Digital Data Systems Lines: 28 After recent discussions I am seriously considering replacing my 3b1 fan. Last night, while working at home, it was quite warm and the fan suddenly sounded like it was revving up. Then after a minute or two, it seemed to slow down to the normal whirring. It did this two different times. I mentioned this to my son, who said he heard this and he confirmed that it was also a hot night when it happened to him. Someone at work asked if the fan is thermostatically controlled?? Anyone know? Is this a warning signal of a possible problem??
