Well thanks for all the help. The problem was with the timing of the clock.
I had to use the latch cicuit that was posted to delay the clock enough to
get it to work. Actually, I needed two of the latches in series to get a
long enough delay. But now everything's working fine. Thanks again and happy
hacking...
