The problem is that when I run the makelabel program everything seems to be ok. However, when I try to boot it dies complaining about executing a halt instruction. We are using an Emulex QD33 disk controller with a CDC 9766 disk drive. The QD33 is supposed to act like it is connected to a RA81 disk. We currently have Ultrix running since we did not get a boot tape with the More release. At first we were just going to use the ultrix boot stuff, but it turns out that Mt. Xinu leaves a hole in the middle of their boot program in which they place their disk label. The ultrix boot code does not have a similar setup, so copying the ultrix boot program onto disk wipes out the Mt Xinu disk label. Has anyone out there successfully installed Mt Xinu 4.3 on a MicroVax 3200? If you have any ideas please respond to me directly.
