The HP 26054A upgrade kit still exists.  It upgrades a 2686A LJ, 2686A#300 LJ+
or 2686D LJ500 to "+" capabilities and 2Mbytes of on-board RAM.  Unfortunately
it is priced at about $2500, or about the same as a new LJ-II.  :-(
