I'm interested in buying a laptop.  Light weight is
more important to me than computing power - all I
need to do is edit files (with a simple vi or emacs
clone) and use a modem.  I'm considering wither
a Toshiba T1000 or a Dataview (Datavue?) Spark.  Any
advice, observations or recommendations about these
(or similar) machines would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone heard any rumors about other lightweight
(circa 6 lbs) laptops to be released soon?
