Message-ID: <4595@alvin.mcnc.org> Date: 31 May 89 13:15:16 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Microelectronics Center of NC; RTP, NC Lines: 12 I have a Western Digital dual floppy/hard controller (2,7RLL 1:1 interleave). One of the jumpers on the board is documented as a switch for dual speed/single speed floppies. What exactly does this mean? Is a dual speed floppy one that can write to two kinds of disks (e.g. a 1.44 Meg floppy drive)? Many thanks in advance, Rusty jewett@mcnc.org phone: (919) 248-1427 P.S. If it makes any difference, the controller is a 16 bit controller.
