They decided to change the name and only a reference in a comment shows what happened. Muck around with ndir.h and ndir.c a little. Can't really remember what I did, but it finally worked. Seems to me I remember that makedep complained ALOT! I did a quick 'evaluation' of the RT and thought rn (actually rrn) would be a good test.
