The first is that every time the host sends back reverse-video or highlighted characters, my Mac gets stuck in reverse-video mode. For example, on the UNIX system I'm on right now, the 'More?' prompt that you get when use do a 'man' or 'more' is in reverse video---when I hit 'q' (or just keep going), all of the text is displayed in reverse video from that point on. How can I fix this? The other problem is seeming incompatibility with GNU Emacs. After I type some commands, the computer thinks I ALSO type a ctrl-s or ctrl-r immediately thereafter. This means that after paging forward (ctrl-v), for example, I then have to type a ctrl-g to kill the 'search' command that the computer thinks was enetered right after the ctrl-v. Any ideas on this one? Jay Boisseau jay.emx.utexas.edu
