The answer is that you copy the text to paint and then invert it. Note, however, that the flipped text won't be precisely the same size as the original. I use this technique to make table markers. Create the text in draw mode. Copy to Paint. Flip vertical and horizontal. Superpaint 2.0 does flip text in draw mode, however. My recollection is that MacDraw also flipped text even in its old version. Steve Goldfield
