Evanston, Il. Lines: 24 I just finished playing with MacsBug 6.1b1, which was on the Phil & Dave's Excellent CD ROM (it really is excellent, by the way). The two major new features in 6.1 (compared to 6.0) are scrolling and DCMDs. Scrolling lets you use the up and down arrow keys to scroll the window backwards and forwards. The scrolling buffer size is configurable. DCMDS are external commands you can write to extend MacsBug. 6.1b1 comes with a few nice examples to display info about drivers, volumes, open files, etc. MacsBug v6.0 has been available for some time now, and was a major improvement over 5.whatever. If you use MacsBug alot I'd recommend getting the most recent version. The most recent APDALog contains an entry for MacsBug v.6.1 for $35, and it says it will be "available in May 1989." There's a 126 page manual which would probably be useful if you want to write DCMDs.
