OK.  Here's something that i've tried with a "normal" folder, and i bet
it would work on one that's sold its soul.  Open ResEdit.  Select the
folder.  Choose CLEAR from the edit menu.  Click the OK button in the
dialog box that asks if you really want to delete it.  Voila.
