If the Apple Virtual memory implemenation works like Connectix's, you will not have to do anything other to insure that you have adequate "contigious" space on your HD. Which at most would require that you run a de-fragmenting program on your HD before running Virtual. Connectix uses a file equal the amount of ram being used, ie 8 megs. This file stores the memory data to be swapped in and out. I just hope that Apple's implementation is configurable in some way, so you can set the amount of Virtual memory you want to use (or can afford on your HD)...
