Keywords: Help, No way Message-ID: <8266@thorin.cs.unc.edu> Date: 29 May 89 15:22:16 GMT Sender: news@thorin.cs.unc.edu Lines: 18 Ok, I have seen prices quoted at around $1600 for the SE-SE/30 upgrade and am wondering what the eductional discount price will be. I went down to the computer shop at UNC-CH and the man told me that the price would be ~$2100 and I told him to go jump in a lake. I paid ~$2100 for my SE and couldn't believe it. Also, if I can get it for $1600 retail I'll just go buy it somewhere else (just kidding, I realize that he was incorrect). Anyhow, does anyone (APPLE ARE YOU LISTENING?) happen to have the real price??? Please let me know as soon as possible. Also, if you know any of the details of the upgrade (does Apple get the motherboard of the SE back, can I keep my 256K simms, etc) please let me know these also. Thanx, Andrew W.
