Hello all

I am a beginner HyperTalk user, and have been reading this helpful
newsgroup for some time. I have a few questions to ask the HC experts
out there. I know some of these may be trivial or old questions, but
I don't have much experience yet...

1) What is the advantage of XCMDs and XFCNs over regular resources?
For what type of applications are resources better than X routines?

2) What is the general process of calling XCMDs and XFCNs? Is using
them as easy as it sounds? Where can I get some useful samples? 

3) Does anyone know of any archives that I can obtain some helpful
programs like ResEdit, Sound/Graphics Resources, etc. from?
