Recently I received a copy of SIMIBM.ARC which contains an index of of
all files and an index of annotated files at SIMTEL.  Using the BASIC program
provided to make them human readable i had a few problems.  I found that there
were 4 listings in the SIMIBM.IDX file causing these problems.  They had
excessive or incorrect quote marks in their descriptions.  These were:
-the third file in MSDOS.MUSIC
-the third file in MSDOS.PCTECH
-the 2nd PASSWRD file in MSDOS.SYSUTL and
-HELPME2 in MSDOS.VOICE
after removing the offending "s the SIMCVT.BAS worked fine ...

by the way ... one can change 2 lines in that program and operate on
NODESCR.IDX to get an index of these too ...

since this was the first time i worked wit hSIMIBM.ARC i do not know if
this was a one time aberration, or possibly caused by the transmission
process.
