using 'Command' instead of 'Alternate' for the meta-key in Terminal windows
would be tolerable (if sub-optimal) but for one remarkably ill-thought-out
consequence: meta-q (fill paragraph in emacs) is interpreted as 'Quit',
closing the window (without even a dialog to check!), aborting the process,
etc.  i had really looked forward to seeing this fixed in 0.9, but it's
not.  has anyone figured out how to patch this brain-damage out of Terminal?
