Has anyone succesfully compiled the 4.0 distribution
of sun's rpc library on a sequent ?? I am especially interested
in the xdr_float routines for the 387, suns distributions supports
only floating point routines for their coprocessors.

I would like to compile the bootparamd on our sequent, that we are using
as a server for some 20 diskless Sun workstations. By now
we still need a sun server for bootstrapping. We have no bootparamd on the
sequent, because it seems that it depends on the 4.0 rpc library.
Has anyone succeeded in setting up a sequent as the only server
for sun workstations ?
