I am now reliably running four asy ports on Sys V/AT 2.4. However, does anything special have to happen to run five ports? I have the routines running on interrupts 4,3,5, and 14. I cut the interrupt request line on a dumb serial card and ran it to IRQ 14 on a neighboring card. Works fine. However, when I tried to add a fifth port, on IRQ 12, the line hangs as you describe. I've edited the count in cf/master and dfile.wini, as well as asy_conf.h. Anyone know if I'm just getting greedy? Are 5 serial lines too much to try for? I'd rather find out I just forgot something. :-) -- John Kennedy | Second Source, Inc. uunet!opel!johnk | Annapolis, MD
