I just tried it with the newest stuff and the problem appears to have
been fixed.

How about something like:

Button1 = : window : f.focus
Button1 = : frame  : f.focus
Button1 = : title  : f.focus

I know this doesn't give you complete click to focus  but it's pretty
close.
