Since the gnu assemblers seems to be useable as a cross assembler
I had expected gnu ld to be useable as a cross-loader (is that a word?)
as well. Alas, not so.....

So, my questions:
- Is anyone working on this?
- If nobody is, I might look into it. So, next question: anybody
  has an idea about the difficulty? I would guess that a bit of
  byte-swapping should do the trick, no?
