I am using the additons for the 68881 builtin functions, and that is
what tripped the problem, but this is a problem none the less.

If you have a file that uses builtin functions, and somewhere in the
file, a type declaration is made for the builtin function, for the
scope of that delcaration, gcc emits function calls to the function,
rather that using the builtin version.
