     The node here ("beep") is a XT clone running SysV.2.  I realize it's a
bit more than the typical home computer, but still I hope they don't shut
down the net(s); it's only been a couple of weeks since "beep" recovered
from a stroke(disk drive power supply failed).  What defines a home
computer, these days?  Seems to me the distinction is becoming a
bit blurred...
