I have recently received a Tektroniks scope that doesn't work. There is no horizontal scan. A dot will appear in the middle of the screen, but will not trace left to right. If a voltage is applied, the dot will jump the correct amount, so this is why I suspect the scanning area. After looking around, I discovered a blown fuse, and a cracked resistor. Replacing both the resistor and the fuse resulted in another set of dead components. After more looking around, I have found another cooked resistor, but this one is so discolored that the original value is uncertain. I am leary about going farther without a set of schematics for this scope. (This was a gift-No schematics-Doesn't work) Where can I find a set of schematics for this? I don't know how old it is but it is model # 5103N and ser # B021944. Any advice would be very welcome! Mik Killoran
