I got a non-functional Ineptivision a few years back, and went as far as to call GI for the FREE data book. They are heavy into custom chips. One of the chips (I think the one on the far side turned sideways) is a pretty decent complex sound generator. And yes, the GI 1610 is the worlds most screwed up processor. 10 bits.
