Well, Dave....  Blood transfusions are just not that "simple", and
"complete" transfusions have deleterious effects.  HIV is a blood-borne
virus that can infect a number of other tissues linked via the circulatory
system.  I've read where experimentation on transfusion therapy has
been hailed as "helpful", but long-term implications are yet unknown.
