Locke's book was a VERY EARLY effort at devising Safer Sex guidelines ... 
when it was written the theory that AIDS was spread by sexual contact was 
still, believe it or not, subject to a great deal of question ...
.     You'll have noticed Locke's hyper-scrupulosity about "body fluids" ...
